What is a joyful rebel?

a joyful rebel is a woman who refuses to live small, numb, or performative—

even when it would be easier.

She chooses joy as a form of courage.

faith as a lived relationship.

and authenticity as a daily practice, not a brand.

She Believes Joy is NOT a Personality Trait—It's a Posture.

one rooted in truth, trust, and deep permission to be fully herself.

A Joyful Rebel Doesn't Hustle for Worth or Hide to Stay Safe.

She shows up visible, grounded, and honest—

with God, with others, and with herself.

Are YOU a Joyful Rebel?

This manifesto isn't a list of goals.

It's a way of living.

A returning.

A remembering.

Read it slowly.

Let what resonates stay.

Change what doesn't fit so it reflects who God made you to be.

The most important Joyful Rebel trait?

She straightens her sister's crown, applauds her unique brand of authenticity, and lifts as she climbs.

Joyful Rebel Manifesto

I embrace a lifestyle of curiosity, wonder, and whimsy.

I wake up each day eager to discover treasures God has hidden for me,

ways I can grow and learn,

chances to express my creativity,

and opportunities to encourage and inspire.

I embody joy, gratitude, and faith in and to the world,

extending compassion,

fixing crowns,

and speaking life to others.

i'm on a purposeful, personal, lifelong journey,

to fight for every version of myself I have been,

to claim freedom for the woman i will grow to become,

and to discover and honor my true self now,

the beloved daughter god created.

i walk with quiet confidence,

a woman comfortable in my own skin,

never anything less than 100% my authentic self,

and completely at peace being alone in a crowd.

i no longer play small to fit in better.

i don't try to earn my spot,

compare myself to other women,

or worry if the genuine encouragement, inspiration, and joy i offer is 'big enough.'

as a child of god, i don't allow outside opinions to change what i know to be true,

what jesus tells me,

or where the holy spirit leads me.

i trust in his love,

and i know he speaks to me.

i'm a safe place for my people, especially my Family.

loved ones know i will greet them with acceptance,

offer unconditional love,

and speak the truth of how i feel or see things in that same love.

i also give myself love and compassion.

i'm a good friend,

i have clear, defined boundaries,

i'm available when needed,

i honor my commitments,

i admit my faults and apologize with ownership,

and my advice is both prompted and given without expectations.

i have Surrendered all precious outcomes.

i run towards the roar,

practice imperfection,

value progress,

believe life is an adventure,

and failures are opportunities to grow.

fear doesn't dictate my actions or my interests.

i see beauty in the world,

and i count my blessings,

i steward what is within my ability to manage,

and i trust god with everything else.

i welcome the freedom that comes with surrender.

i release should,

challenge thinking traps,

embrace emotional honesty,

exchange fear for agency,

and name my fears, removing their power.

i am resilient when life quakes.

i don't doubt my mind,

i trust my intuition,

and though life is often messy and imperfect, i show up anyway.

i live my values, with a firm foundation of faith and always putting family first.

i own my unique magic,

and i treat my mind, body, and soul with care.

i'm a joyful rebel.

i am loved.

RADIANCE STATEMENTS

I Can't Control How Others Show Up to Life —

But I Can Control How I Do.

Real Talk? Sometimes I still need a little mental boost.

That's when I turn to my arsenal of internal resources.

I use and teach a variety of tools—breath prayers, glittering verses, beauty lists, etc.—but Radiance Statements are one of my favorites.

Some call these affirmation statements; I prefer Radiance. Even the word sounds joyful. Radiance.

Here are a handful I came up with over the years, and I hope they inspire you to create your own — when you do, I'd LOVE to hear them!

Repeat these slowly, with your breathing, and let the truth empower you today.
